We were referred to Magnolia Hospice by the NP for Windchime Assisted Living. The word hospice brings on some serious stigma for what might be on the horizon. We were assured from the very beginning that their first priority was my mother's comfort and care. Our case manager was always available for our never ending questions and my mother's CNA was an absolute Godsend. We were assured at every turn that any concern would be addressed. Even going as far to send a nurse late in the evening on the weekend to address a medication concern. As we got closer to my mother's passing we were almost in constant contact with someone from Magnolia ensuring that my mother was comfortable and that we, as a family, were cared for too.
I can't say enough good things about Magnolia Hospice and everyone who I have dealt with from their company. I was losing my father to a terminal illness and was all alone with him in the hospital for 7 days. Unfortunately, the doctor said he was beyond their care and referred us to Magnolia. I was devastated, scared and all alone, that is until they arrived and from the very first meeting I felt a huge weight off my shoulders!! They were very kind, compassionate, and helped both of us through the process. They gave me hope when I had felt none for a week. They kept me informed of everything that was going on with his care. They checked up on me frequently and made sure I was doing ok. I was able to go home to my children and get important things done!! I recommend them and I will always cherish their kindness and compassionate care of my father until his very last breath which, they were there for! They gave me nothing short of peace of mind and I can never repay them.
These folks really did the job you hope hospice will do. Right away after the diagnosis and choosing Magnolia, they really took control of the process as an advocate for my mom. Every individual I dealt with from the beginning to the end was thoroughly impressive. Each person did everything they could to give my mom the best experience possible while respecting her decisions. Everyone was thoroughly accountable, giving regular updates and available for me to contact.
Magnolia Hospice is AMAZING! I have been overwhelmed with the Guardianship of my father who’s in a secure memory care facility. I cannot express enough gratitude to all at Magnolia Hopsice for their support, information, and continued encouragement!
